Name the unit of work before the feature
Chat, a file, a bounded job, an app, or a continuing task. Teach the choice, not the icon.
Enablement
Enablement is the part a new programme usually skips. The tool can be in the tenant while nobody has a named task, a named person, or a check that existed before the project. Tools ship. Habits do not, unless someone stays for that.
These notes take September's announcements and ask what a worker can try on Monday, and what should wait until a pilot has an owner. They are for people at the start of the journey, not for a team that already runs agents in production.
Where a note mentions FrontierOrg, that is a fictional method for rehearsing a decision. It is not a company, not a client, and not a case study.

Chat, a file, a bounded job, an app, or a continuing task. Teach the choice, not the icon.
Enablement · 02
Office in Copilot returns a document the team can edit. The test is the normal approval path.
Enablement · 03
Cowork became generally available on 16 June 2026. September moved it into Home. Teach the task, not the launch.
Enablement · 04
Code and the /app skill let a non-developer sketch a tool. The first one needs an owner and a review.
Enablement · 05
Code, Studio, GitHub Copilot and Foundry are not interchangeable lessons.
Enablement · 06
Private preview is a place to watch a recurring task, not a company-wide routine.
Enablement · 07
Work IQ's renewal story depends on records that match. A preview will not clean them for you.
Enablement · 08
Learn asks for a small pilot, readiness, training and a look at usage. September does not replace that list.
Enablement · 09
The 23 September Copilot notes are links, sorting and profile cards. That is enough for a first habit.
Enablement · 10
Learn's requirements are the attendance list: Entra account, mailbox, apps, browser, network.
Enablement · 11
Sponsorship is a repeated ask about a named task. A launch note is not sponsorship.

A bounded Cowork pack with a baseline beats a tour of Autopilot, Code and Work IQ.
